Assembly and Welding

The assemblers are responsible for assembling and dimensioning the pieces, creating the volume set out by the design and complying with the defined tolerances:

• They anticipate the deviations that will occur in the welding process to mount the part with the corresponding corrections
• They ensure that the positions and orientations of the different pieces are correct, so that aspects as important as concentricity, parallelism, and perpendicularity comply with what is specified in the design

Once the best references have been taken and the calculations have been made, the piece is marked and left ready for the welding process.

The definition and coordination of welding processes is carried out by International Welding Engineers (IWE), who define the Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) and the Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).

Both joining operations (same and dissimilar materials) and reloading are performed. OK

The welder guarantees the least possible distortion and deformation, working with different welding sequences.

Cadinox has 18 approved welders mastering the following technologies:

• SAW (Submerged Arc)
• GMAW – (M.I.G./M.A.G.)
• GTAW (T.I.G.)
• SMAW (Manual Electrode)
• BRAZING (For copper)
